I am currently a K-9 Independent Study teacher at Redding Collegiate Academy Charter School with a focus on 7th-9th grade, but I also offer classes and tutoring to all grades, K-9. I teach science, language arts, history, performing arts, music, STEAM, and art in weekly workshops.

My previous experience includes ten years at the Academy of Personalized Learning which is a hybrid Independent Study K-12 charter school where I carried a case load of twenty-six to thirty students and taught 4th-5th grade language arts and history as well as art, math, and acedemic recovery classes.

Before that, I worked in the Anderson Union High School District in their alternative education programs including Oakview High School, North Valley High School, and the Adult School program.

I was born and raised on the coast of California in Humboldt County and moved to the Redding area in 1999. I currently share two acres with six fat goats, thirty fluffy chickens, three spoiled dogs, four purrfect cats, fourteen doves, and one patient husband. I love to write and play music, read, and create mediocre pieces of art and would rather be in the great outdoors than inside.
